During this presentation we’ll discuss how the way we interact with clients is changing, how the pandemic is accelerating those changes, and what forecasting tells us about the future. We’ll also take a look at immediate steps and long-term strategies you can take to connect with new and existing clients.

Key takeaway strategies:
1. The playing field is changing and firms that adapt quickly have a better chance of success.
2. There are immediate steps you can take to improve your communication with clients.
3. People are still connecting - you just have to know where to look.

Listeners can expect to walk away with some tips they can put to work right away, and some bright ideas to bring to their next marketing or business development meeting.

SPEAKER:

julie falconiJulie Falconi, CPSM | President, JSF Marketing

Julie is President of JSF Marketing, a marketing company she owns with her husband.  She is passionate about small business ownership and marketing – especially research, data, branding, and promotions – and works with clients in the AEC industry to empower them with the tools they need to become efficient and profitable.

Julie began her career working for AECOM, where she was first exposed to the principles of disciplined marketing, and then for Reuters, where she fine-tuned her          writing and copyediting skills.

Naturally entrepreneurial, Julie took the principles she’d learned working for Fortune 100 companies and struck out to see if they could be applied to small businesses. She opened a photography studio in 2013 and within two years had turned it into a six-figure business using the principles of smart marketing she’d learned.

After getting married, Julie decided to close her photography studio and return to her first love – professional services marketing -- and see if she could help other small business owners become more profitable using the same principles.

Her fundamental marketing beliefs include:

• The most elegant solutions are the simplest.
• There’s no replacement for hard work.
• Always follow data, not impulses.
• Proactive marketing is always better than reactive marketing.
• Technology works for us, not against us.
