APTIM is looking for a full-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to report directly to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications in The Woodlands, Texas office. With a full-time staff of over 70 marketing, communications, and proposal professionals, this is a unique opportunity to work directly with a senior executive on the highest priority marketing and communications projects. Qualified candidates must have a solid understanding, minimum of three to five years of experience in the A/E/C industry, and excel in a deadline-driven environment. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will be responsible for the creation and production of high-quality marketing collateral, presentations, award submittals, annual surveys, and ad campaigns, along with maintenance and updates of new website (to be launched in March). Experience with social media and thought leadership programs is strongly preferred. Candidates must have a four‐year college degree (Business, Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism recommended).

Position Responsibilities
• Assist with public relations and updating of various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
• Assist with coordination and preparation of publications, newsletters, magazines, annual reports, advertising campaigns, etc.
• Assist with media monitoring
• Assist with website updates
• Desktop publishing experience (InDesign and Photoshop a must, Illustrator a plus)
• Expert knowledge of presentation software along with strong presentation design skills
• Coordination with graphic designers and professional writers on a variety of projects
• Assist with in-house production of materials (Reprographics)
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Skills and Abilities
• Ability to interact directly with the Executive Leadership Team in a professional manner
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package and Adobe Creative Suite
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing; strong editing and proofreading skills
• Social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) • Creative, well organized, capable of prioritizing and being proactive
• Ability to maintain a strong sense of focus and confidence under tight deadlines and varying workloads
• Excellent ability to multitask and respond to constantly changing needs and schedules
• Occasional travel required Education and Experience
• Three to seven years prior marketing experience in the architecture/engineering/construction industry, depending on skill set and education
• Prior experience with Position Responsibilities listed above
• Candidates must have a four-year Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism recommended)
• Membership in SMPS or other similar organizations (CPSM Certification highly desirable)
