The Business Operations MARCOM Coordinator reports directly to the Business Operations MARCOM Director and will work collaboratively with the Sr. MARCOM Specialist. He/She will support the development and implementation of marketing strategy, digital strategy, public relations, internal and external communications for each of APTIM’s Specific Business Units (SBU). Key interfaces may include executive and senior management, Business Development Directors, Managers and Coordinators, SBU Human Resources Executives, as well as technical groups and functional management within the SBUs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Business Operations MARCOM team to provide key interfaces with support needed to attain marketing strategies
    • Support the development and delivery of marketing and communications
    • Support account based marketing strategy and operations, marketing omni-channel optimization, digital marketing, brand consistency, localization, analytics, and measurement
    • Support the development of sales reports for operations and senior business development staff and identify advanced marketing tools and technologies (e.g., virtual reality and microsites) to support the efforts of various business development teams
  • Assist in the training and implementation of best practices of marketing collateral
  • Work with SBU Marketing Managers and Coordinators and SBU Business Development executives to support the generation of thought leadership material
  • Support public relations campaigns and coordinate cross business line sales opportunities
  • Assist in brand adherence/consistency across all SBUs

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Organize marketing and communications requests
  • Assist with public relations and developing increased awareness of the company’s leadership in target market segments
    • Provide support to customers and local, state and federal government officials to promote local content and community relations initiatives
    • Assist with networks capturing and relating company news and information
    • Assist in messaging development and channel
  • Assist with development of content and/or output of corporate local news, corporate headlines, press releases, announcements, organization charts, presentations, technical articles, podcasts, client newsletters and brochures
  • Work with technical groups and functional management to develop consistently branded client facing project materials

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or relevant field
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the field
  • Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills
    • Proven experience in communications
    • Experience in copywriting and editing
  • Working knowledge of Adobe 2017 – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office

    • Photo and video editing software experience in Web Design and content production is a plus
