Marketers and Business Developers alike gathered at Kirksey to hear real-life accounts from a panel comprised of Cynthia Foteh and Angie Goings from Ward, Getz & Associates, LLP, Matt Daniel, LEED AP and Carmen Houston, CPSM from BE&K Building Group, and Peter de la Mora, CPSM and Maris Schieda from HDR.
Moderated by Todd Gnospelius of Manhattan Construction Company, this panel gave insight on how their firm’s business development and marketing departments function organizationally and culturally. The marketers and business developers each shared their perspective on a variety of topics including reporting relationships, team chemistry, frequency of meetings and communication methods. Attendees now understand how high-functioning marketing and business development departments manage the overlapping roles and excel as integrated teams at their respective firms.
